Is this Track for My Student?

The Institute for Christian Apologetics is pleased to offer a dedicated, high-school-level learning track because we want to partner with families to train the next generation of Christian leaders.

Rather than letting our young people step out into a skeptical world unprepared, our Homeschool Track provides a structured, four-year curriculum that builds theological depth, logical clarity, and Christ-like character.

To protect the learning experience and foster healthy relationships, our high school students are placed in separate cohorts for all live weekly meetings, allowing them to engage in Socratic discussions with other teens navigating the same life stages.

This specialized track is built specifically for:

Parents: who want to outsource high-level theology, logic, and worldview training to trusted, vetted mentors from the seminary pipeline.

High School Students (Grades 9 to 12): who want to cultivate a strengthened mind so that they can confidently engage modern cultural challenges.

Aspiring College Students: who want to prepare for the intellectual pressures of secular university campuses before they leave home.

How the Track Works

We recognize that every family has different academic goals and weekly schedules, which is why we offer two distinct academic pathways:

The Standard Track (16 Workshops Total): This path requires a highly manageable commitment of one workshop per block during the academic year, which covers Blocks 4, 5, 1, and 2. The standard pathways do not schedule Block 3, although optional summer workshops may be offered.

The Honors Track (32 Workshops Total): This path is designed for students who want a highly rigorous academic experience, because it doubles the workload to two workshops per block during the school year while still keeping summers completely free.

(Note: nothing prevents students from taking workshops during the summer (Block 3).

Because each Workshop requires approximately two to three hours per week, participants can integrate ICA training into their homeschool curriculum. Participants needing additional scheduling flexibility may also complete Workshops asynchronously using approved recordings or other MEET alternatives.

This is a certificate, non-degree completion milestone that families may include in a portfolio.

Milestones and Graduation Awards

To keep students motivated and celebrate their hard-won achievements,

we have built a beautiful milestones program specifically for the Homeschool Track:

Workshop Certificates: Students earn an official certificate of completion for every single workshop they finish.

Grade-Level Specific Awards: As students complete their required courses each year, they will earn four unique grade-level awards to commemorate their progress.

Certificate of Mastery: When a student successfully completes the entire homeschool track, they will graduate with our highest honor, the "Certificate of Mastery in Christian Apologetics," which serves as a distinguished credential for college applications and future ministry.

This map outlines the path of study for both the Standard and Honors tracks.
Students on the Honors Track will take the workshops listed in both columns concurrently, completing eight workshops per academic year.
